Todd: So, Adrienne, what did you have for breakfast today?
託德：埃德里安娜，你今天早餐吃的什麼？Adrienne: This Morning, I forgot to eat breakfast.
埃德里安娜：今天早上我忘了吃早餐。Todd: Nothing! You had nothing?
託德：你早上什麼也沒吃？
Adrienne: I had grapefruit juice.
埃德里安娜：我喝了葡萄柚汁。Todd: Grapefruit juice! That's not a very healthy breakfast.
託德：葡萄柚汁！那可不是健康的早餐。Adrienne: I know. Don't tell my mother.
埃德里安娜：我知道。不要告訴我媽媽。Todd: I'm gonna tell her. She's gonna listen. She's gonna hear this on ELLLO and she's gonna be very upset.
託德：我會告訴她的。她會收聽節目的。她會收聽ELLO網站的節目，她知道後會很難過的。Adrienne: Please don't tell my mother. You're right. She'll be very upset if she hears that.
埃德里安娜：請不要告訴我媽媽。你說得對，她知道以後會非常難過的。Todd: Mothers know we must have breakfast.
託德：媽媽們總是說，我們一定要吃早餐。Adrienne: Hmm.
埃德里安娜：嗯。Todd: I never miss breakfast. So normally, when you do have breakfast, what do you have?
託德：我從來不會不吃早餐。你早餐一般吃什麼？Adrienne: Ah, usually I have yogurt and fruit.
埃德里安娜：嗯，通常是酸奶和水果。Todd: Yogurt!
託德：酸奶！Adrienne: Yes.
埃德里安娜：對。Todd: Now, do you get like the fruit-swirly kind or do you just get the plain white yogurt?
託德：是有果粒的酸奶還是普通的酸奶？Adrienne: No, no, I like the plain.
埃德里安娜：我喜歡普通的酸奶。Todd: Oh, really.
託德：哦，真的嗎？Adrienne: Really. The sweetened yogurt tastes to chemical to me. It's got all kinds of strange sweeteners and things in it that I don't like, so I prefer to buy plain yogurt. Maybe sweeten it myself with honey or molasses or fruit, something natural. It tastes better.
埃德里安娜：真的。我覺得甜酸奶嚐起來像化學品。我不喜歡那些奇怪的甜味劑，所以我喜歡買普通酸奶喝。我可能會自己加天然的蜂蜜、糖蜜和水果讓酸奶變甜。這種甜味更好吃一些。Todd: Well, what fruit do you put in your yogurt? Do you put the fruit in the yogurt or do you have it separate?

埃德里安娜：不好說。這要取決於我是否趕時間。Todd: Right. Right. So assuming that you cook breakfast sometimes...
託德：好。好。你做早餐的時候……Adrienne: Rarely.
埃德里安娜：我很少做早餐吃。Todd: OK. But when you do cook breakfast, what do you make?
託德：好。一般你會做什麼早餐？Adrienne: My favorite breakfast to cook is spinach and cheese omelet.
埃德里安娜：我最喜歡做的早餐是菠菜和奶酪煎蛋卷。Todd: That sounds good.
託德：聽起來不錯。Adrienne: It's really good — with turkey bacon and hash-browns.
埃德里安娜：非常好吃，可以搭配火雞培根和土豆餅。Todd: Turkey bacon!
託德：火雞培根！Adrienne: Yeah.
埃德里安娜：對。Todd: So is that bacon that tastes like turkey, or...
託德：是嚐起來像火雞的培根嗎？Adrienne: Bacon made out of turkey meat.
埃德里安娜：是用火雞肉做的培根。Todd: Does it have the fat and stuff just like the normal bacon?
託德：那和普通培根一樣含有脂肪嗎？Adrienne: Yeah, it's not as fatty. I think that's why I like it so it's crunchier. It's crispier.
埃德里安娜：對，含有很多脂肪。我喜歡它的原因是它嚼起來有吱吱的聲音，很鬆脆。Todd: OK.
託德：好。Adrienne: So to me it's has a better taste, but a lot of people really dislike it, so you have to.... it 's kind of an acquired taste I guess.
埃德里安娜：我覺得很美味，可是有許多人不喜歡，所以你要……我覺得這是後天養成的口味。Todd: Right. Right.
託德：好，好的。Adrienne: But my mom often cooks turkey bacon in with the regular bacon for breakfast for everyone so that you can't really tell the difference cause it has that bacon fat taste to it, so it kind of defeats the purpose of being healthy about the bacon but, anyway.
埃德里安娜：我媽媽經常用火雞培根和普通培根做早餐，所以其實分不太清區別，因爲都有脂肪，所以吃培根就失去了保持健康的意義。Todd: Yeah, but it tastes good. That's all that matters.
託德：對，不過味道很好。這是最重要的。Adrienne: For a big breakfast like that, it's true.
