When one great thing happens, then another great thing happens on top of it, the second thing is the icing on the cake.

背景故事：

說製作西式糕點最後一道工序，就是在糕點上灑上或塗上一層白色的冰欺凌叫做 icing on the cake。在俚語當中 icing on the cake 使一件原本已經很好的事物變得更加的美好，也就是錦上添花！此外，Icing on the cake 也常在NBA比賽上用到；比如在比賽最後還剩下三秒鐘時候，一方投中了三分球將比方拉到了5分，讓對方沒有回天之力時，就可以說這個，來表示勝負已見分曉，或者是紅花雖好也要綠葉相襯的意思。
