實用口語:"封殺"怎麼說

“封殺”這個詞相信大家都不陌生，明星若是耍大牌，常常會引來媒體的聲討以致被“封殺”；近兩年時尚界開始注重健康形象，“封殺”過瘦模特；在小貝決定加盟洛杉磯銀河隊但還沒有轉會時，也曾被老東家皇馬“封殺”。

在英文裏，常用來表達“封殺”的有shut out、throw out、force out、ban，我們來分別看一下。

1. Shut out

Shut out 有“把……排除在外Exclude, deny entry to, block”的意思，演變爲現在的流行語“封殺”，例如：

Anyone convicted of a crime is shut out from the legal profession.

有犯罪前科的人不能從事法律行業。

Right now one can generally confirm that domestic internet companies are uniting to shut out Gmail. 目前大體可以確認，國內的網絡公司在聯手封殺Gmail服務。

2. Throw out

Throw out 從字面上看，大家也不難猜出它的意思，就是“拋棄，扔掉，趕出”，總之就是一種“禁止”的意思，例如：We threw out her proposal. 我們拒絕了她的提議。

He was thrown out of the country club for failing to pay his dues. 他付不起會費，被鄉村俱樂部除名了。

The bartender threw out the drunk. 男侍把醉漢趕了出去。

It's your play. The runner was thrown out in a close play. 該由你走了。賽跑者已被封殺出局。

3. Force out　

Force out 最初指在體育的壘球運動中“封殺出局”：即當擊球員成爲跑壘員時，造成擊跑員或前位跑壘員喪失跑壘的權利，而被封殺出局。現在這個詞也用來指一般的“封殺”，例如：

High rents force out Veteran Clubs in New York City.　紐約城高昂的租金封殺了老兵俱樂部。

4. Ban

Ban也是用來表達“禁止”，也可以理解爲“封殺”，比如：

The world's first ban on overly thin models at a top-level fashion show in Madrid has caused outrage among modeling agencies and raised the prospect of restrictions at other catwalk pageants. 馬德里高級時裝秀首次封殺骨感模特，這一行爲引起了模特經紀公司的憤怒，其他時尚秀也可能會出臺類似禁令。

果然，主辦倫敦時裝週的行業組織英國時裝理事會在今年2月時裝週的前一週致信設計師，要求他們只能用那些16歲以上形象健康的模特。
