在中國文化中，黃顏色是一種很重要的顏色，因爲它具有獨特的象徵意義。在封建（feudal)社會中，它象徵統治者的權力和權威。那時，黃色是專爲皇帝使用的顏色，皇家宮殿全都漆成黃色，皇袍總是黃色的，而普通老百姓是禁止穿黃色衣服的。在中國，黃色也是收穫的象徵。秋天莊稼成熟時，田野變得一片金黃。人們興高采烈，慶祝豐收。

參考譯文：
In Chinese culture, yellow is an important color because of its unique symbolic meaning. In feudal society, it symbolizes the rulers’ power and authority. At that time, yellow was designed to use for the emperor—the royal palace was painted yellow and the imperial robe was always yellow too. However, the ordinary people were not allowed to wear yellow clothes. In China, yellow also signifies harvest. The fields grow golden yellow in autumn when the crops mature. People celebrate the harvest cheerfully.

解析：
1. 注意用詞多樣化，相同意思的詞采用不同的英文單詞，避免重複，如：本題中“象徵”就分別用了symbolize和signify兩個詞。
2. 注意句式多樣化，多采用一些關聯詞，如：because of, at that time, however等詞的使用，可以讓譯文更地道。
3. 意譯與直譯相結合，首先要保證譯文忠於原文，不要一味追求辭藻華麗。

In Chinese culture, yellow is a significant color, which carries a unique symbolic meaning. It embodies rulers’ power and authority in feudal society, where yellow was specifically used for emperors, for example, royal palaces were painted with yellow tint and the imperial robes were yellow. However, average people were not allowed to wear clothes in that color. In China, yellow also means harvest. When crops are ripe in Fall, wild field are golden every where. Then people celebrate the good harvest with happiness and gratitude.

點評：

此次題目考的是我們非常熟悉的中國傳統文化，相對來說是比較簡單的，無論從詞彙和句子結構來說，對同學們不會造成太大障礙。在翻譯時，要考慮到英文的行文特點及語法結構，比如，英語多避免重複，所以，在翻譯時會用到一些代替，比如，it, that, those,these等。同時，會用到從句，此時，注意連詞的用法，選對連詞，避免出現邏輯問題。
