英語學習：不好意思讓你久等了
1、Wait. 動詞，wait for.
wait for me表示等我;
wait me.
2、wait. 名詞，
很多商家在廣告語上寫：The wait is finally over!
意思爲：等待終於結束。
3、讓別人等了好久的時候，一般說：Sorry for the long wait.
意思就是：不好意思，讓你久等了。
不過這句話用動詞也可以：Sorry for keeping you waiting
或者Sorry for having kept you waiting.
sorry for doing...：因爲什麼事道歉
keep sb waiting.：讓別人等
最實用簡潔：Sorry for the long wait.
4、await.
用await表示等待等候的時候，不需要加for了。
我等你：I await you.
5、wait on：表示等待
I'm still waiting on my pizza. 我還在等我叫的披薩呢...;
Hurry up. We are all waiting on you. 快點，我們都在等你。
6、關於wait的幾個短語：
Let's wait and see. 咱們走着瞧;
Wait up! 等下;
Wait a second/ Wait a minute 等一下
I can't wait. 我等不及了。
It's worth the wait. 這值得等待。
