復星收購美國保險公司Ironshore

Shares in Fosun International hit a two week high on Monday morning, a day after the investment arm of China's largest privately held conglomerate announced a deal to buy US insurer Ironshore.

在宣佈收購美國保險公司Ironshore後，中國復星國際(Fosun International)股價週一上漲至兩週內最高點。復星國際是中國最大私人控股集團的投資部門。

Late on Sunday Fosun offered to buy the 80 per cent it does not already own in Ironshore for $1.84bn. It originally bought a 20 per cent stake last year.

週日晚些時候，復星斥資18.4億美元，收購其在Ironshore尚未持有的80%的股份。該集團去年曾買入Ironshore公司20%的股份。

Shares rose 1 per cent at the open to HK$19.60

週一開盤時，復星股價升至每股19.6港元。

Fosun, whose Chinese name Fuxing means "stars from Fudan University", was founded by four friends in 1992. Since then, it has grown to become one of China's most influential companies with interests ranging from steel and property to tourism and pharmaceuticals and one of the mainland's most acquisitive companies in foreign markets.

復星集團的中文名稱取自“復旦大學(Fudan University)之星”的意思。該集團於1992年由4位朋友創立，已成長成爲中國最有影響的企業之一。其投資興趣涵蓋各行各業，從鋼鐵和房地產業、到旅遊業和製藥業，是中國內地在國外市場中併購最爲積極的企業之一。

In January last year Fosun spent 1bn to purchase Portuguese insurer Caixa Seguros and last month it, together with TPG Capital, bought Cirque du Soleil.

去年1月，復星曾斥資10億歐元收購葡萄牙保險公司Caixa Seguros。上個月，該集團還曾與德太集團(TPG Capital)共同收購太陽馬戲團(Cirque du Soleil)。

From Fosun's statement: “The Group has been endeavoring determined efforts in establishing insurance as its core business and developing insurance as one of the key growth engines of the Group. Ironshore's excellent management team will enable the Group to effectively extend its insurance business from property & casualty insurance, life insurance, reinsurance to specialty insurance, and increase the profit contribution from its insurance business. ”

復星集團在聲明中表示：“本集團一直致力於將保險業務作爲核心業務，並將保險發展成爲本集團主要增長引擎之一。Ironshore的卓越管理團隊將幫助本集團的保險業務從財險、壽險、再保險有效延伸至特殊險，提升來自保險業務的利潤貢獻。”
