A video promoting the Communist Party of China featuring grassroots Party members has gone viral, generating positive comments on the Party's engagement.

日前,一段以基層黨員爲主角的中國共產黨宣傳視頻走紅,而中共密切聯繫羣衆的作風被點贊。

The 90-second video, produced by China Central Television (CCTV), presents six Party members from all walks of life, from a sanitation worker to a traffic policeman, who are all dedicated to their work and are always ready to offer help in daily life.

這段90秒的視頻由央視製作,表現了日常生活中在各自不同崗位上盡職盡責、隨時準備幫助他人的六位黨員。他們中有環衛工人,也有交警。

The video starts with the questions "Who am I?" and "What kind of person am I?", and shows the work environment of the six representatives of Party members.

該視頻從"我是誰"和"我是什麼樣的人"這兩個問題開始,展示了六名黨員代表的工作環境。

The video was first broadcast on CCTV at the end of June to commemorate the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Party, and then gained popularity online, earning more than 20m hits on Tencent Video.

6月底,爲紀念建黨95週年,這段視頻在央視首播,隨後在網上流行開來,在騰訊視頻上的點擊量超過2000萬。

Many people reposted the video on Weibo, with some saying "come and watch the first-ever advertisement of the Party".

許多人在微博上轉發該視頻,其中有人寫道:“來看一看我黨的第一個廣告。”

"Any organization, including the Party, needs marketing and self-promotion. The practice, like political advertising, is very common in the West but is still something new in China," said Bi Yantao, a professor of communications at Hainan Tropical Ocean University. "It is good to see the Party learning to employ various means of political communication and tell the stories of ordinary people."

海南熱帶海洋大學傳播學教授畢研韜表示:“任何組織,包括政黨,都需要市場營銷和自我提升。這種做法,如政治廣告,在西方很常見,但在中國仍然是新事物。看到我黨學習運用各種政治溝通的方式講述普通人的故事,這很棒。”
