我國首現MERS疑似病例

Guangdong province reported its first suspected case of Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS), the National Health and Family Planning Commission announced Thursday.

國家衛生計生委28日宣佈，廣東省出現首例中東呼吸綜合徵疑似病例。

A South Korean believed to be infected with the deadly virus came to China for a business trip Tuesday. The 44-year-old man expressed discomfort as early as May 21 and 38.7℃ fever on Monday.

患者爲一名44歲的韓國男子。26日，該患者來到中國出差。他早在21日已出現不適，25日發燒，體溫達38.7℃。

He arrived in Hong Kong on Tuesday and went on to Huizhou via Shenzhen.

26日該男子抵達香港，經深圳抵達惠州。

MERS is a respiratory illness caused by a new type of corona virus. There is no vaccine or treatment for the disease, with its fatality rate reaching 40.7%.

中東呼吸綜合徵是由一種新型冠狀病毒引起的呼吸道疾病，目前尚無可用的疫苗和藥物治療方法，死亡率高達40.7%。
