《滾蛋吧!腫瘤君》代表內地爭奪奧斯卡,《狼圖騰》落選

Chinese romance film-"Go Away Mr. Tumor" has been submitted to compete for this year's Academy Awards for Best Foreign language Film. The submission of the tear-jerking real life drama comes as a surprise to many. Critics and film industry Insiders were betting on either "Wolf Totem" or "Mountains May Depart" to be China's official submission to the Oscars.

根據奧斯卡官方網站最新消息，代表中國內地角逐明年第88屆奧斯卡最佳外語片的電影是《滾蛋吧！腫瘤君》，因爲這次公佈的是最終確定的參賽名單，那麼之前被傳送選的《狼圖騰》，在中國內地無疑是落選了。

A poster of the tear-jerking romance-"Go Away Mr. Tumor"ety described the film as a "slick, glossy but emotionally compelling and humorous portrait of a woman's losing battle".

《滾蛋吧！腫瘤君》是一部“無厘頭”的抗癌史。

China's Film Board had been expected to select Sino-French co-production Wolf Totem for consideration, before choosing Han Yan's production. Insiders point out it might be because the board’s submission last year was also a Sino-French co-production and they wanted to avoid a repetition.

至於爲何選擇《滾蛋吧！腫瘤君》，有業內人士分析，去年選送的衝奧片《夜鶯》就是法國導演的一部合拍片作品，所以可能是想避免連續兩年選送合拍片的緣故。

According to the official website of the Academy Awards, Go Away, Mr. Tumor, will be China's entry for consideration among submissions from 81 countries and regions this year.

根據奧斯卡官方網站發佈的消息，《滾蛋吧！腫瘤君》是今年來自全球81個國家和地區入選作品中的來自中國的最終入圍作品。

Every year, each country is invited by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences to submit its best film for the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film. The Foreign Language Film Award Committee oversees the process and reviews all the submitted films. Following this, they vote via secret ballot to determine the five nominees for the award.

目前階段的參賽名單是所有報名的國家或地區選送的影片名單，之後會由奧斯卡評委遴選出8部影片，這是半決賽階段，再然後是選出5部入圍影片，這是決賽階段。這5部入圍影片就成爲奧斯卡最佳外語片的提名選手，電影主創也會受邀出席奧斯卡頒獎典禮，等待結果揭曉的那一刻。

Meanwhile, Hong Kong has submitted "To the Fore" to the competition and Taiwan has picked Hou Hsiao Hsien's "The Assassin" as its entry.

與此同時，中國香港選送的衝奧影片是《破風》，中國臺灣選送的影片是《刺客聶隱娘》，這兩部影片和之前的消息吻合。

The 88th Academy Awards nominations will be announced in January, 2016. The Oscars will be held in late February at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood.

第88屆奧斯卡入選名單將於2016年1月宣佈，頒獎典禮將於2016年2月28日在美國洛杉磯的杜比劇院舉行。
