電影《大唐玄奘》確定代表中國內地衝擊奧斯卡

China Film Group Corp. announced last Saturday that "Xuan Zang" has been entered for Best Foreign Language Film at the 89th Academy Awards.

中國電影集團公司於上週六宣佈，《大唐玄奘》已經入圍第89屆學院獎最佳外語影片候選名單。

The film, directed by Huo Jianqi, tells the historical adventure of Chinese Buddhist monk Xuan Zang and his 17-year overland journey to India during the 7th century.

這部影片是由霍建起導演，講述了中國佛教僧侶玄奘的歷史奇遇，以及在7世紀曆時17年來到印度的陸路旅程。

The Sino-Indian co-production was released in both countries in April and won best visual effects at the 2016 China Britain Film Festival.

這部中印合作的影片於四月份在兩國放映，並在2016年中英電影節上摘得最佳視覺效果獎。

More than 80 countries and regions have entered works for the Best Foreign Language Film category so far.

目前有超過80個國家和地區已經向最佳外語影片這一分類遞交了作品。
