"勵志"小偷計劃通過盜竊捐助貧困兒童

A scheme to steal 1 million yuan ($153,000) and give to needy children did not go as planned for one man in the city of Chongqing.

日前，重慶市一名男子計劃盜竊100萬元人民幣（約合15萬3千美元）並捐獻給貧困兒童，但是最終並未如願以償。

The 30-something suspect, surnamed Luo, and his 44-year-old accomplice were detained at Luo's rented home in connection with a Jiangbei district burglary.

該嫌疑犯年齡大約30歲，姓羅，與一名44歲的同夥因爲在江北區實施盜竊而被拘留在自己的的出租屋中。

There arresting officers found evidence of a Robin Hood-esque plan to donate to a school in a poverty-stricken area, newspaper Chongqing Times reported.

據《重慶時報》報道，在這間出租屋裏，負責抓捕的人員找到了有關這一羅賓漢式的計劃的一些證據。兩位疑犯正計劃資助貧困地區的一所學校。

The elderly victim, surnamed Li, reported her jewelry and cash missing, which she valued at 10,000 yuan, police said.

警方表示，近日一名李姓老年失主聲稱，自己價值10000元左右的珠寶和現金丟失了。

Surveillance video from the community placed Luo and his accomplice at the scene, while more footage aided police in tracking Luo to his home. Both men claimed innocence until police showed them the recording.

不過失主所在居民區的監控錄像實時監控了羅某及其同夥的行蹤，並且這些錄像最終幫助警方追到了羅某的家中。二人在警方拿出監控錄像前，均拒不承認自己的罪行。

However, what surprised police most was Luo's motive for the theft.

但是，令警方最爲驚訝地是羅某的盜竊動機。

A posted list, entitled "Plan to earn 1 million in 2015," was found taped up on the wall of Luo's rented home, photographs published by the newspaper show. "Earn 2,800 yuan a day, and 84,000 yuan a month. Only spend 30-50 yuan a day," read the posted plan. It was punctuated with the motivational line, "This is my goal - fight for it!"

報紙上公佈的一張照片顯示，在羅某的出租屋牆上，貼着一張名爲“2015年賺到100萬”的清單。這張清單上寫着“每天賺2800元，每個月賺84000元。每日開支30到50元。”此外，還有一句勵志語：“爲這個目標奮鬥吧青年！”

Among his intentions to buy a house and car for his brother, Luo's plan also included a large donation to a Project Hope school, police said.

根據警方表示，羅某的目標除了給自己的弟弟買一套房子和一輛車以外，還包括一項希望工程學校的大型捐助計劃。

Luo and his accomplice await charges.

目前羅某及其同夥正在等待審判結果。
