上海推出我國首本小學男生性別教材《小小男子漢》

The Shanghai Educational Publishing House last Wednesday launched China's first gender textbook designed specifically for male students in primary school.

上海教育出版社於上週三推出了國內首本爲小學男生量身定製的性別教育教材。

Entitled "Xiaoxiao Nanzihan" or "Little Man" in English, the textbook focuses on mental health education of male pupils in the fourth and fifth grades in primary school, aiming to help them understand sexual physiology, sexual psychology and enhance their fundamental ability of self-protection.

這本教材名叫《小小男子漢》，側重於對小學四五年級男生的心理健康教育，旨在幫助他們瞭解性生理、性心理知識，增強他們自我保護的基本能力。

With a total of six chapters, the textbook introduces a wide range of basic knowledge including the topics of "What is the difference between a boy and a girl?", "Why am I a boy and not a girl?", "What does a father mean to a son?" as well as "Why do we need to have awareness about investment and money management?".

該教材共分6章，介紹了各種基礎知識，包括"男孩和女孩有哪些不同？"、"爲什麼我是男孩不是女孩？"、"父親對兒子意味着什麼？"、"爲什麼要有投資和理財的意識？"等話題。

The Shanghai Educational Publishing House said pupils who learn the book will have a separate classroom from their female classmates.

上海教育出版社表示，學習這本教材的小學男生將與女同學分班上課。

The move aims to help boys more openly discuss some questions they might otherwise not address in their daily lives.

這一舉措意在引導男生可以更開放地討論一些在日常生活中很難展開的問題。
