韓國警方稱找到歲月號船主屍體
The body of a fugitive businessman sought over April’s tragic ferry sinking was found last month in southern South Korea, ending a nationwide manhunt.
上個月，因今年4月的悲劇沉船事故而被通緝的在逃商人屍體在韓國南部被發現，終結了這一全國範圍的大搜捕。Police said on Tuesday that a badly decayed body found on June 12 is that of Yoo Byeong-eon, the de facto owner of Chonghaejin Marine, the operator of the Sewol ferry that capsized in April, killing more than 300 people.
韓國警方週二表示，6月12號發現的這具高度腐敗的屍體正是清海鎮海運(Chonghaejin Marine)的實際所有者、世越號(Sewol，又譯歲月號)運營商俞炳彥(Yoo Byeong-eon)。今年4月發生的世越號沉船事故曾造成逾300人喪生。Mr Yoo has been the subject of a large-scale manhunt by police since the ferry disaster, as Chonghaejin’s lack of investment in safety training and alleged breaches of regulations such as cargo overloading are believed to have contributed to the ferry sinking.
自那次渡輪事故以來，俞炳彥一直是警方大搜捕的目標。因爲清海鎮海運在安全培訓方面投入不足，又違反了貨倉超載等方面的監管條例，這些行爲據信對渡船沉沒起到了很大作用。
Prosecutors have been under fire for failing to catch Mr Yoo in sPite of offering a $500,000 reward for tips about his whereabouts. They raided a religious compound in May – after a nine-day stand-off with members of the religious cult founded by Mr Yoo – to search for him in one of the most bizarre episodes in the aftermath of the ferry disaster.

Authorities offered a $100,000 bounty for Mr Yoo’s eldest son, while one of his daughters was arrested in France in May.
這位73歲的億萬富翁被控侵佔公款和失職。由於檢方懷疑他通過由他兒子控制的控股公司掌握清海鎮海運的實際控制權，他還被控逃稅。韓國當局曾懸賞10萬美元搜捕他的長子，而他的多名女兒則於今年5月在法國被捕。Police said on Tuesday that DNA and fingerprint tests confirmed the body as Mr Yoo’s, adding that the announcement had been delayed due to lengthy forensic investigation.

Also found near the body were a cloth bag, a magnifying glass and an empty bottle of a shark liver oil product made by his family company.
警方表示俞炳彥的屍體腳蹬一雙價格昂貴的鞋子，身着意大利Loro Piana品牌羽絨服。屍體附近還發現了一個布袋子、一個放大鏡以及一個裝魚肝油的空瓶——這種魚肝油產自他的家族企業。The cause of the ferry sinking, the country’s worst maritime disaster in 20 years, has yet to be determined, although broader criticism has focused on the regulatory failings that enabled Chonghaejin to overload the Sewol with cargo while failing to invest in training.
