南科大學生未參加高考

Forty-five students of South University of Science and Technology did not take the college entrance exams Tuesday, the first day of the exams, Beijing News reports.

《新京報》消息，週二高考第一天，南方科技大學45名學生無一參加高考。

Two classrooms were prepared for the exams, but no one took the exam papers. After 15 minutes, the exams were canceled.

南科大爲高考準備了兩間教室，但無人來領試卷，15分鐘之後，兩個考場的考試取消。

University President Zhu Qingshi said that students not taking the test is not a total denial of the college entrance exam system, and the exams are still a relatively fair way to select talent. However, not all students should have to take the exam.

南科大校長朱清時迴應說，孩子們的拒考並不是對整個高考制度的否定，高考在當下比較起來仍然是唯一相對公平的選拔人才的方式，但是不能“一刀切”。

The education system should allow the blossoming of various kinds of flowers, and South University of Science and Technology, which hasn't been recognized by the Department of Education, is one way for students to blossom, Zhu said.

他說，教育制度應該允許百花齊放，而南科大就是這百花齊放中的一朵小花。據悉，南科大至今仍然沒有得到教育部的正式承認。
