神奇"彈話槍"能讓人即刻閉嘴

Japanese researchers have invented a machine that can shut someone up at will, the Daily Mail reported.

日本研究人員發明了一種可以隨時讓人閉嘴的機器。

Kazutaka Kurihara and Koji Tsukada have built a gun they call the "Speech Jammer", which could be ideal for an unruly classroom or noisy library.

據英國《每日郵報》報道，慄原一貴與冢田浩二製作的“彈話槍”能從30米開外準確無誤地擊中目標，正是亂哄哄的課堂和嘈雜的圖書館裏的不二選擇。

It is accurate when fired from up to 30 meters away. When it is shot at a speaker, it keeps them quiet almost instantly using a technique called "Delayed Auditory Feedback".

當射向講話人時，它通過“延遲聽覺回饋”技術幾乎能讓目標立即安靜下來。

Rather than causing the person pain, it will stress them into shutting up by recreating an uncomfortable feeling that most people will have experienced when they hear their own voice echo back to them during a phone call or on Skype.

“彈話槍”不會給人帶來疼痛感，只會迫使人閉嘴不言併產生一種不舒服的感覺，類似於大多數人所體會過的在打電話或使用Skype聊天時聽到自己迴音的感覺。
