我喜歡接觸不同的人，所以我認爲我能勝任接待員一職。
還能這樣說：

I want to communicate with different people, so I am suitable for the work of a receptionist.
應用解析：
different是普通用語，指事物間的區別或本質上的不同，側重相異的；
diverse意指性質、種類十分不同的；
various強調種類或性質的不同與多樣，而不強調其本質的差別。

12. The work is out of my field.
這份工作對我來說專業不對口。
還能這樣說：
The work is not related with my major.
The work is out of line with my professional knowledge.
應用解析：
lose the field 戰敗；
open field 很多機會；
in one's own field 在自己本行內
