May Day is coming. Do you know something about it? How do you spend your holiday? Today's topic is...


May Day occurs on May 1, is also known as International Labor Day. It is an annual holiday to celebrate the economic and social achievements of 's not only celebrated in China, but also many other countries in the world. Different countries celebrate differently. For example, in English, the traditonal celebration is Morris dancing(莫里斯舞); in American,the largest celebration is the May Day Parade and Pageant(五一閱兵盛典); and in France, it is a cunstom to give a sprig of lily of the valley(鈴蘭), a symbol of springtime; and so on.

In China, now the it is a public holiday, just last three days, people would spend their holiday by taking some short trips around their cities.
