【內容簡介】
《忍者神龜：變種時代》（Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles），是喬納森•理貝斯曼執導的一部動作冒險電影，改編自1984年凱文•伊斯特曼和皮特•拉爾德共同創作的漫畫，由梅根•福克斯、威爾•阿奈特、威廉•菲德內爾、阿倫•瑞奇森、諾爾•費舍主演。影片於2014年8月8日美國上映。影片講述了在邪惡勢力想要統治世界之際，神龜們與人們一起保護世界的故事。

之前對於April口中所說的神龜的事情，Vern一直都認爲是April瘋了，幻想出來的，但是這次他卻真的見到了她口中的神龜，而且一下就見到了四隻。於是，在他們逃離Shredder的實驗室的路上，Vern對April說：“抱歉，我沒有相信你。”stick up for後面加人的話，意思是“支持某人，維護某人。”在這裏，引申爲“相信”。
2. stay on
April，Vern與神龜一行不知道要走哪條路逃出Shredder的魔爪，這時，Mikey:說：“我們必須繼續沿着這條路走！”stay on的意思是“繼續停留，保持”，在這裏，後面與the road相連，譯爲“繼續沿着這條路。”
3. at the bottom of
接着，Mikey說道：“如果我們能到達山腳下的那個維修機房，那有個下水道，距離這裏只有2.4公里。”at the bottom of的意思是“位於……的底部”，在這裏，與the hill連用，意思是“位於山腳下。”
4. shortcut
