汽車污染的英語作文1

Too many cars have created a lot of serious problems in our world. Besidescongestion, accidents and fast fuel consumption, cars are responsible for a goodpart of air pollution in big cities. All the time, they are pumping huge amountsof waste gases into the atmosphere. These gases are very harmful, causingdisease and even death. Last winter, car fumes formed heavy smog over Beijing, making the sky gloomy for weeks and deteriorating people's health.

One possible solution is to design and develop clean cars and clean fuels. InTsinghua University, campus buses are driven by electricity. In Beijing some ofthe public buses begin to run on natural gas, which does not give off as muchcarbon dioxide as the petrol. But it may take decades for the new models ofclean cars to completely replace the traditional ones.

Another solution is to develop modern public transportation systems andrestrict the use of private cars. If the price of petrol rises constantly andthe public vehicles are efficient and convenient enough, most people will notprivate cars. And the total number of cars in big cities will reducegreatly.

On the whole, the elimination of air pollution needs the co-efforts from thegovernment, the public and the environments. This problem will be solved onlywith the help of science and technology.

Private cars have become an important aspect of people‘s life in many partsof our country, especially in large cities such as Beijing, Shanghai andGuangzhou. While they bring much convenience to people, they are also widelycriticized. There are some arguments for owning private cars. In the firstplace, cars allow people to move around freely, which greatly improves ourliving standard. We can easily drive cars for sightseeing on weekends. In thesecond place, cars are a comfortable way to travel, especially in bad but not least, the car industry can boost economy by creating many jobopportunities in production of steel, rubber, glass and so on. However, thereare also many good arguments against cars. First of all, they pollute theenvironment by emitting harmful gases and giving out loud noises. In addition, cars cause a large number of traffic accidents, which bring great misery to thevictims‘ families. As far as I am concerned, we should limit the number ofprivate cars by providing better mass transportation and better service for thepeople. Everyone should sacrifice his or her own interest for the common good ofthe society.

In general, there are two ways of traveling, private cars and publictransportation. Chinese people should regard public transportation as theirfirst traveling opinion.

First, there are so many people living in this countries that make it socrowded. If each chinese people own a car, there will be far more traffic jamsand accidents, which increase you impatience.

Moreover, there will be far more pollution resulted from cars. Once a carstarted, it release huge amount of dirty gas and heat, which lead to greatpollution and result in green house effect.

汽車污染的英語作文5

With the development of economy, there are more and more vehicles on thestreets. Governments at all levels have to do something to solve the problem ofheavy traffic in the city.

I would like to share with you some ideas about this problem: firstly, thegovernment should build more roads. This action can decrease the degree ofstreet congestion and make it possible for cars to run faster than ever each coin has two sides. If a city builds too many roads, the streets willoccupy much land. We will have little space used for other purposes. Sosecondly, more special bus lines for public transportation should be added. Thuspeople can go conveniently everywhere they like; they will not ride bikes ordrive cars. In this way, the number of cars and bikes on the road will begreatly cut down.

As far as I am concerned, if we want to solve this problem, we should set upan idea of public transportation first and give a priority to this idea in ourtraffic work.
