Those lines that I before have writ1 do lie,

Even those that said I could not love you dearer:

我的朋友肯定是隻鳥—

因爲它飛翔!

它有倒刺,象蜜蜂一樣!

你使我迷茫!

使倔強的心屈從事物的隆替：

唉，爲什麼，既怵於時光的專橫，

我不可說，"現在我愛你到極點，"

當我擺脫掉疑慮，充滿着信心，

覺得來日不可期，只掌握目前?

愛是嬰兒;難道我不可這樣講，

去促使在生長中的羽毛豐滿?

THE sky is low, the clouds are mean,

A travelling flake1 of snow

Across a barn or through a rut

Debates if it will go.

A narrow wind complains all day

How some one treated him;

Nature, like us, is sometimes caught

Without her diadem2.

雲暗

天低又復雲暗，

飛過雪花一片。

穿越車轍馬圈，

去留擇決艱難。

誰人這樣待風，

令其整天抱怨。

自然猶如我等，

時常沒戴皇冠。
