職場英語日記 第31期:約會讓人緊張

Sean has been leaving messages for me at home and I finAlly sent him an email. He called me about 3 minutrs aftre I clicked “send" so he must have been working at his computer, too. We talked for a minute, bue I was really busy and distracted by all the work I n=have to do today.

西恩不斷在家裏的電話裏留言，我終於發了封電子郵件告訴他我的工作電話。結果“發送”鈕才按下三分鐘他就打來了，看來他也是一直在電腦前工作。我們只聊了幾句，因爲今天工作實在是太忙了，我都快被搞瘋了。

I still feel unsure about going on a date with him but I am going to take everyone's advice and get to know him a bit before dismissing him entirely. I told him that I couldn't really talk today because of my deadline and he told me not to worry, he would call me back later in the week.

要不要和他約會我還是不確定，不過我會接受大家的忠告，先多瞭解他一點再決定是否完全不考慮和他交往。我告訴他是因爲完成工作的最後期限很緊迫，今天沒什麼空打電話，他叫我不用擔心，這星期會再打電話給我。

I like that he isn't pushy. That's one good thing about him. Also, if Chris and Ien like him, then he can't be too bad. I wonder if I a just making excuse because I have been single for so long and the idea of dating again makes me a bit neryous.

他不會死纏爛打，這點我很欣賞，確實是一項優點。另外，如果克里斯和珍都喜歡他，那他就應該不會太差纔對。我懷疑自己會不會只是在找藉口而已，因爲單身太久了，想到又要約會多少會有點緊張。
