Cotton T-shirts and gauzy skirts aren't the only things that feel flimsy when the temperature drops--a lightweight face lotion seems equally insubstantial.

1. Exfoliate 去死皮
In the morning, just splash with lukewarm (never hot) water. At night, massage a nickel-size blob of a milky cleanser over the face, and rinse thoroughly with warm water. Twice a week, exfoliate with a scrub containing soft, synthetic beads. If rubbing irritates skin, try a gentle fruit-enzyme mask to dissolve flakes instead.

Pat your face with a soft towel. While the skin is still damp, smooth a quarter-size scoop of moisturizer with hyaluronic acid or glycerin over the face and neck, paying special attention to the corners of the mouth and nose. At bedtime, apply an even richer formula: look for one with a blend of lipids such as squalene or ingredients like panthenol to seal moisture into the skin while you sleep.

3. Fortify 加強防護

Eye and lip skin contain few oil glands, making it especially prone to dryness. Morning and night: Smooth on an eye cream beneath the lower lashes, tapping it lightly to blend. Repeat along the upper eyelids to the brow bone. Choose a lip balm with natural oils (but without any salicylic acid), and spread it all the way to the corners and rim, where cracking occurs.
