畢業太快也是罪?德國大學狀告學生要求賠付

This is because a pupil is being sued by his university after he completed his Bachelors and Masters degrees in around a quarter of the normal time.

最近，德國一所大學起訴一名學生，稱其僅用正常學生四分之一的時間就完成了本科及碩士的學業，大大違反了學校規定。

Marcel Pohl completed a total of 60 examinations during his 20 months at the Essen-based School of Economics and Management (FOM).

Marcel Pohl在短短20個月內，就在德國埃森經濟管理學院（FOM）完成了共計60門考試。

He managed to achieve a grade of 2.3 but now FOM is suing Mr Pohl for loss of income after he completed his studies in August of last year.

他已經拿到了2.3的績點，在去年8月完成了全部的學業，然而FOM一紙訴狀，要求其賠付由於畢業過快所造成的經濟損失。

Pohl managed to gain his degree in rapid time by dividing up simultaneous lectures with two friends before then swapping notes.

Pohl能這麼快攢夠學分，是因爲他與其他兩名同學共同合作，各自分配出席同一時間的不同講座，之後再交換筆記，以這種方式提前完成了學習任務。

He also managed to complete an apprenticeship in a bank while studying.

他還在學習的同時，在一家銀行完成了實習。

"When I got the lawsuit, I thought it couldn't be true," Pohl told the Bild newspaper.

“收到起訴書的時候，我簡直不相信這是真的，”Pohl這麼告訴Bild新聞的記者。

"Performance is supposed to be worth something."

“努力的過程應該得到肯定。”

His lawyer Bernhard Kraas added: "We're always against slow students but when someone hurries and finishes early, suddenly he has to pay. That can't be right."

他的律師Bernhard Kraas補充：“我們總是在批評差生，說他們學習速度太慢，然而當學生們能極有效率的提前完成學業時，他又突然面臨爲此賠付的局面。這點是不公平的。”

A spokesman for the university said it didn't want to comment on the case before it had gone to court.

該所大學的發言人表示出庭前不會對此事發表任何評論。
