At 99 years old Doreetha Daniels graduated from College of the Canyons in California, with an associate degree in social sciences after seven years of hard work, which makes her the oldest graduate in the university's history.

99歲老人丹尼爾斯在7年的刻苦攻讀後，終於完成了學業，獲得社會科學大專文憑，成爲加州峽谷學院歷史上最高齡的畢業生。

Daniels has lived through a number of watershed moments in American history, including the Great Depression and World War II.

丹尼爾斯經歷過經濟大蕭條、第二次世界大戰等有着美國曆史分水嶺意義的事件。

Her journey, which started in spring 2009, has been wrought with personal difficulties - from multiple strokes to sight and hearing issues to the revocation of her driver's license.

她的求學之路從2009年開始，期間需要不斷克服來自自身的阻礙，包括多次中風、視力下降、聽力減退和駕照被吊銷等。

Daniels advised prospective students: "Don't give up. Do it. Don't let anybody discourage you."
