齊達內正式擔任皇家馬德里新主帥

Zinedine Zidane has taken over as head coach of Spanish giants Real Madrid following the sacking of Rafael Benitez on Monday.

本週一，西甲豪門皇家馬德里足球俱樂部宣佈主帥貝尼特斯下課，齊內丁·齊達內將出任皇馬的新主帥。

Club president Florentino Pérez confirmed Benitez's seven-month tenure as coach had been terminated at a press conference.

皇馬主席弗洛倫蒂諾在新聞發佈會上確認，貝尼特斯7個月的皇馬執教生涯正式宣告結束。

Since 2014, Zidane has coached Real Madrid Castilla, the club's B team, which plays in the third tier of Spanish football.

齊達內從2014年起擔任皇馬B隊(卡斯蒂亞隊)的教練，在西班牙足球乙二聯賽征戰。

The 43-year-old former Real player and World Cup winner is the first Frenchman to manage Real Madrid in the club's 114-year history.

43歲的齊達內是世界盃冠軍隊成員，並曾經爲皇馬效力。齊達內也成爲皇馬俱樂部114年曆史上的首位法國籍主帥。

Zidane spoke briefly during Monday's news conference, promising to "give it all in his heart to make the team successful."

齊達內在週一的新聞發佈會上做了簡短的發言，他表示，自己將"竭盡全力帶領球隊走向成功"。

"We have the possibility to win La Liga and the Champions League and we will aim to win both. There is room for improvement. We're still near the top in the league and are in the Champions League. We must be positive."
