Since I was a little baby, my parents read simple stories for me. They bought me many cartoon books with stories. They were my bedtime stories. Among all the interesting stories, I like fairy tales most, because they are often beautiful love stories between prince and princes or Cinderella. They are so moved and full of love. Besides, in fairy tales, no matter how much they suffer, they will always live a happy life in the end. The happy endings bring hope and satisfaction to people, making us hopeful to our own lives. Every time I read fairy tales, I put myself into the story, imagining I am one of them. That’s wonderful.

Mrs Turner lives in a small town husband died in a traffic accident and left her little money was hungry and lived a cold room in winter .A shopkeeper had pity on her and told her to cook for him pays her some money and she doesn’t worry about food or clothes any longer .
The woman is often ready to help others does her best to give something to the poor persons times she would rather be hungry ,she gives her food to the poor she’s liked and everybody knows her .
One Sunday Mrs Turner rested at home .A few men came to beg something hardly gave all to them and left only some food for supper is evening ,while she was doing some sewing in the room ,she heard somebody knocking at the door opened the door and saw an old man standing outside .
“Please have a pity on me ,Mrs Turner ,”said the old man .“I’ve eaten nothing for days d you give me some food ,please ?”
“Oh ,I’am sorry ,sir ,”said the woman .“I have neither money nor food now .I can do some sewing for you if you clothes are worn out .”
“It’s very kind of you ,madam ,” the old man said happily .“I Have a button here se sew a jacket on it .”
The phoenix
Many ages had now passed away since the Phoenix had been seen in the world. At last he again appeared. Immediately al the different kinds of animals, both birds and beasts, flocked around him.
Astonished at his beauty, they stared and admired, and broke out into great praise. But in a short time, the wisest and most prudent(謹慎的) amongst them began to look upon him with an eye of compassion, and they sighed,"O unhappy phoenix! Fate has been hard to him. He has neither mate nor friend. He will never know the pleasure of loving, or of being loved."
