Across a small drugstore, a large chain store was newly opened and would defeat the businessof the small drugstore.
The shopkeeper of the drugstore went to a priest to talk about his concern. The priestsuggested, “You stand in front of your store every day to pray for it to prosper, and then turnaround to pray for that chain store likewise, that is, to embrace your enemy in public.”
Some days later, as what the shopkeeper worried, his store shut down, but he was appointedas the manager of the chain store, and earned more than before.

Having sighted the results of those two men, the third man prayed too, “God, please grant me with the strength and tools to cross the river and wisdom.” In a puff of wind, God turned him into a woman. She had a look at a map, and walked upward along the river for two hundred yards, and then crossed a bridge.
一天，三個男人遠足時意外的遇到一條波濤洶涌的大河。他們需要到河對岸去，但對如何過河一籌莫展。
第一個人祈禱說：“上帝啊，請給我過河的力量。”噗!上帝賜予他粗壯的手臂和強健的腿。他花了約兩個小時遊過河，其間有兩次幾乎淹死。

On the dirt road,there was a big hole filled with water. The hole was very deep, but drivers on the road didn’tKnow just how es always drove into the hole,but they never drove out.
One day,a man in a new car was driving down the road. He saw the hole with the water,but hedidn’t think it was very drove into the hole,but he couldn’t drive out. The man saw thefarmer on his tractor working in the field,and he signaled to the farmer. The farmer drove overto the man in the new car.
"Is there a problem?" asked the farmer.
"Yes,"said the man. "My car is stuck in this you help me?"

"If you help me, I'll pay you,"said the man.
"OK," said the farmer. The farmer pulled the car out of the hole with his tractor,and the manpaid him a lot of money. The man looked at the farmer and said, "You must make a lot ofmoney pulling cars out of this hole day and night."
"Actually, no,"said the farmer.
"Why not?"asked the man."The hole is very deep,and a lot of people get stuck and ask I don't make money day and night because I don't pull cars out at night."
"At night I'm busy filling the hole with water,"answer the farmer.
離城市非常遠的地方住着一個貧窮的農夫和他的妻子。在他們的房子前面是一條很小的土路。非常少的車輛駛過這條道路，因爲它離城市是如此的遠。在這條土路上，有一個很大的充滿了水的洞。這個洞非常深，但是在這條路上的司機並不知道多深。司機們總是駛進洞中，而且從他們沒有駛出來。
一天，一個人開着一輛新轎車正駛在這條道路上。他看到了這個有水的洞，但是他認爲洞不是很深。他駛進了這個洞中，但是他不能駛出來了。這個人看到農夫正駕駛着拖拉機在田地理工作，於是他對這個農夫打招呼。農夫向這個人坐的轎車駛過來。
“有難題嗎?”農夫問。“是的，”這個人回答。
“我的轎車載進這個洞裏了。你能幫助我嗎?”
“也許可以，”農夫回答。“但是我非常忙。”
“如果你幫助我，我將付您錢，”這個人說。
“好吧。”農夫說。
農夫用他的拖拉機把轎車從洞里拉了出來，然後這個人付給他很多錢。
這個男人看着農夫說，“你日夜從這個洞里拉轎車出來一定賺了很多錢。”
“實際上不是這樣，”農夫說。
“爲什麼不?”這個男人問。“這個洞非常深，有很多陷進去的人請求幫助。但是我沒有日夜賺錢，因爲我在晚上不拉汽車出來。”
“在晚上我忙着往這個洞裏面注水，”農夫回答。
