智能牙刷誕生 高速清潔牙齒
這是一個網絡的時代，各種便攜電腦、各種智能手機的問世，讓身處都市的我們“網絡依賴症”愈發嚴重，隨着“蘋果系列”的盛行，山寨iphone5的提前問世，種種跡象告訴我們----“不插電還真不能行”，“插電生活方式”不僅僅體現在電腦以及智能手機的使用上，就連早晨起來第一件事------刷牙都不得不與“電”聯繫起來。近日，飛利浦在英國推出了一款類似現今智能手機，主要充電接頭是USB（和智能手機一樣，也附帶USB轉AC的適配器）的電動牙刷Sonicare DiamondClean，該款智能牙刷售價不菲，高達250英鎊（約合405美元/2600人民幣），因該產品高昂的價格它還被封上：牙刷中的Ipod一美譽。該USB牙刷的工作效率十分驚人，刷動頻率高達每分鐘3萬1000次，號稱可以清除牙齦內100%的污垢。
With five brushing modes and a two-minute timer, the makers promise to improve gum health in as little as 14 days. Furthermore, it has a 30-second interval timer that encourages even brushing and whitens teeth. Users have the added benefit of a ‘charge glass’ for wireless charging that will notify them when the batteries have been fully charged via the USB socket.

While Philips have used the plug on other appliances such as electronic music players, laptops and other bathroom devices, the HX 9332 is the company's first attempt at extending that to toothbrushes. Cosmetic dentist Dr Bill Dorfman remarked: 'Philips Sonicare has taken innovation to a whole new level with AirFloss and DiamondClean. 'As an innovator and entrepreneur, I draw inspiration from brands that use both science and consumer insights to develop new technologies that meet people's needs, and ultimately, improve their lives.'
飛利浦公司這回野心不小，除了“智能牙刷”以外，他們還將出品一系列可以在浴室使用的電子產品。據介紹，該牙刷的具體性能和普通電動牙刷無太大區別，使用2W鋰離子充電電池而非乾電池，牙刷放入充電盒或附帶的杯子中即可充電。刷頭可自行更換成別種類型，擁有智能定時功能。牙醫Dr Bill Dorfman對這款智能牙刷讚不絕口，他說：“飛利浦這回真正地將科技與老百姓的日常生活緊密聯繫了起來，產品完全符合民衆的日常需求，提高了生活質量。”
