受夠了交通擁堵 德國一男子選擇游泳上班

Benjamin David was fed up with the stress of commuting on busy city roads.

一名名叫本傑明·大衛的男子，受夠了繁忙的城市道路上的通勤壓力。

So he now packs his laptop, suit and shoes into a waterproof bag, straps it to his back and swims 2km to work along the Isar River in Munich, Germany.

所以，現在他將自己的筆記本電腦、西裝和鞋子通通裝進一個防水袋，背在背上，遊過位於德國慕尼黑的2公里長的伊撒爾河去上班。

Depending on the season, he wears swimming trunks or a long wetsuit – as well as rubber sandals to protect his feet from glass or the occasional bicycle laying in the river.

根據季節不同，他可能會穿一條泳褲或是穿長款潛水衣，而他那雙橡膠涼鞋則是保護自己的雙腳不會被水中的玻璃或者偶爾出現的舊自行車傷到。

His commute sometimes invites laughs from bystanders on the bridges above, but he says it's faster and more relaxing than sitting in traffic.

他的這種上班方式偶爾會使得橋上的看客們哈哈大笑，不過他表示，這樣比起乘坐交通工具要更快、更放鬆。

He said: "I'm not a monk. When I was on my bike, I would yell at cars. When I was on foot, I would yell at cyclists, and so on and so forth."

他說道：“我不是一個修道士。當我騎自行車時，我會對汽車大喊大叫。當我走路的時候，我會對騎自行車的人大喊大叫，等等諸如此類。”

David also spoke about the dangers of river swimming. He always checks the temperature before diving in.

大衛也提到了河中游泳的危險。他跳入河水之前通常還會查看溫度。

Not everyone can swim to work in the city. In Central London, it is illegal to swim in the River Thames.
