跪了! 陝西一村民用手榴彈砸核桃砸了25年!

On Dec. 5, a villager surnamed Ran in the town of Dongmu in Shaanxi province surrendered to police a tool he had used to smash wAlnuts for 25 years.

12月5日，陝西省東木鎮一名姓冉的村民向警方上交了一個他用來砸了25年核桃的工具。

To police officers' surprise, the tool turned out to be a hand grenade.

讓警察大吃一驚的是，這個工具竟然是一枚手榴彈。

Although the detonation device of the grenade was missing, no one knew whether it was equipped with explosives, Huashang Daily reported on Dec. 19.

據《華商報》12月19日報道，儘管這枚手榴彈的引爆裝置不見了，但是沒人知道里面是否還有爆炸物。

Ran was given the hand grenade when he worked in the town of Shuangqiao in 1991.

冉某是1991年在雙橋鎮工作的時候得到的這枚手榴彈。

The device's hard iron head made it a good tool for smashing walnuts. Ran has used this special utensil for 25 years.

這個裝置的一頭是一個堅硬的鐵坨，砸起核桃來十分順手。據悉，冉某已經用這個工具砸了25年核桃。

He didn't realize it was a hand grenade, which individuals are prohibited from possessing, until he received a leaflet describing the dangers of firearms and explosives.

他從沒意識到這是一枚國家禁止個人持有的手榴彈，直到他後來收到一份描述強制彈藥危險的傳單。

Police criticized Ran's possession of the hand grenade as reckless.

當地警方對冉某持有手榴彈這一魯莽行爲進行了批評。
