大千世界:罕見獅虎獸寶寶 寧波首亮相

Five-month-old baby liger Xinle (happy heart) plays at Ningbo Youngor Zoo in East China's Zhejiang province, Jan 17, 2012. As a rare hybrid offspring of a mAle lion and a female tiger, Xinle has the head and tail of a tiger and the body of a lion. Although tigers and lions may cross-breed, the chance of a successful pregnancy is only 1 to 2 percent, and the survival rate for a baby liger is just one out of half a million. It's estimated that there are only 20 ligers alive in the world.

2012年1月17日，五個月大的獅虎獸心樂正在浙江寧波雅戈爾動物園的獸舍內玩耍。心樂是一隻公獅子和母老虎繁衍的後代，它有着老虎的腦袋和尾巴，獅子的身體。雖然老虎和獅子可以交配，但成功受孕的機率只有1%到2%，而小獅虎獸成活的機率只有五十萬分之一，全世界只有20只獅虎獸。
