A university in Southwest China's Yunnan Province has demanded its freshmen and sophomore students to run 120 kilometers a semester and learn how to swim as part of Sports requirements.

中國西南部雲南省的一所大學,要求其新生和大二學生每個學期要跑120公里的步,並且學會游泳,以此作爲體育需求的一部分。

The Yunnan University of Finance and Economic in the provincial capital Kunming held its opening ceremony on Sept. 1 when Sports Director Zhu Haiying announced the new requirements to over 4,000 first-year students.

Some Chinese who work in Africa also further their study in their free time.

Many Chinese choose to join the MBA program, since they work in a Chinese state-ownedenterprise, and an MBA degree could help advance their career.

In addition, as China and Africa's relations and cooperation are heating up and more Chinesecompanies and investors come to Africa under The Belt and Road Initiative, more talents thatunderstand Africa are needed.

Besides, the new generations have more internationalized, curious mindsets, and are morewilling to see and experience Africa themselves without any stereotypes, rather than justreading about it in a textbook.
