用：此慣語有以下一共種用法:
①表示對某事亦常肯定，有時帶有挑外意味』
意：我敢打賭;我有把握;我確信，也說my bet is...
例： I k}et it'll rain tomorrow!
我敢打賭，明天會下雨的!
I bet you can't stand Qn your hands.
我敢說，你不會倒立。(口氣帶有挑釁)
I'll bet you were angry.
你肯定在生氣吧:
（2）表示你同意他人的觀點，也期待別人所講的事實是一真的
例，^:She's crying.
她哭了。
B: I bet she is.
我想是的。
A: I can stand on my hands!
我會倒立。
B: 1 bet you can_
我相信。
③譏譏的口吻，表示不相信他人說的話
意：我不信
例，A: OK, I' l1 bring you a good one next time.
好吧，下次我給你帶個好的來。
B: I bet! Yvu'}e said this a thousand times!

bet you anything
用：可用what you like代替anything 。
意：賭什麼都行;打賭;敢不敢賭
例，Bet you anything (you like) he won't tum up
他不會露面的，賭啥都行。
Bet you what you Iike she' 11 get drunk.
她會喝醉的，賭什麼都行!

意;信不信…肯定會(不會)…?
例，What's the betting they'll be asleep when we get back?
信不信，我們回來時他們肯定會睡覺?

意：當然!一定啦!會的!
