這些暖冬必備英語，你get了嗎？

沒有見過暖氣的我多羨慕“外邊雪花飄飄，屋裏短袖雪糕”的北方生活啊！

在寒冷的冬天，還是來學習這些和冬天保暖有關的英語吧。

1. 秋褲

這個冬天實在是太冷了，趕緊穿個秋褲去！

外國人其實也沒有秋褲這一說，對他們來說，以下的這些就算是保暖必備吧。

①leggings 緊身褲

She is wearing tight black leggings and a baggy green jersey.

她穿着黑色緊身褲和寬大的綠色運動上衣。

②thermal underwear 保暖內衣

thermal的意思是熱的；熱量的；保熱的，我們所說的溫泉就是thermal spring。

My mother has bought the thermal underwear for me.

我媽媽已經給我買了保暖內衣。

③long johns 襯褲，秋褲

關於這個長約翰是啥什麼意思呢？這要追溯到19世紀了。當時美國的重量級拳王“波士頓壯男孩”John L ·Sullivan，很喜歡赤裸上身，總穿着長內褲（long underpants）打比賽。

2. 電熱毯

①electric blanket

這裏要用electric而不是electrical，因爲electric的意思是電的；電動的；帶電的，electrical表示電的；與電有關的。

這裏指的是用電發熱，就比如：

It is so cold that I bought an electric blanket.

天太冷了，我買了個電熱毯。

②thermal blanket 

I use a thermal blanket during the colder months.

我在寒冷月份裏使用電熱毯。

3. 暖氣

哎，我這個沒暖氣的南方孩子還沒親眼見過暖氣呢，委屈！

暖氣的英語是heating，也可以說heat。

Is the heating on?

暖氣開着嗎？

central heating

中央供暖系統，集中供熱系統

北方家裏的暖氣散熱器就是radiator。

When we installed the central heating, we put a radiator in every room.

我們安裝中央供暖系統時，在每個房間都安了散熱器。

4. 服飾

到了冬天，恨不得把所有的衣服帽子圍巾都堆在身上，來看看這些用英語怎麼說？

羽絨服 down jacket/down coat

棉服 puffer coat

毛呢大衣 wool coat

羊毛衫 woollen sweaters

手套 glove/mitten

雪地靴 snow boot

5. 火鍋

凍成狗的天氣，怎麼能錯過火鍋呢！

火鍋的英語大家都知道是hot pot，各種火鍋類型英語有：

四川麻辣火鍋 spicy Sichuan hot pot

粵式滋補火鍋 nourishing Cantonese hot pot

羊肉火鍋 lamb hot

牛油鍋 butter hot pot

清湯鍋 soup pot

麻辣鍋 spicy hot pot

鴛鴦鍋 double－flavor hot pot
