新聞熱詞：貪官被罷之“vox poli（民衆心聲）”
“上海市省委書記陳良宇因貪污而被罷免”的消息，經中國日報網站刊載後24小時不到，就引出網友評論50條之多。看來，反腐倡廉，深得民心、大振人心，評論文章標題：Vox pop: Shanghai party chief sacked for graft.
這篇刊載網友評論的文章，所用標題“vox pop”可謂點睛之筆。Vox pop源於拉丁語vox populi（voice of the people），指“刊載、報道公衆的評論”。因爲公衆的觀點往往比較繁雜，vox pop（vox populi）常常指經編輯提煉後“具有代表性的觀點和看法”，如：collect vox pop（收集公衆輿論）。
另外，標題中的graft指“貪污、受賄”，看例句：In case of graft or serious dereliction of duty on the part of the general manager and deputy general managers, the Board of directors shall have the power to dismiss them at any time.（總經理、副總經理有營私舞弊或嚴重失職的，董事會有權隨時將其解聘）。
