1. embarrassed 描述個人感受(丟臉/臉紅/羞恥感), 常和be，feel搭配

1) Chris was embarrassed when he was caught lying.

Chris被發現在撒謊的時候可尷尬啦。

2) I felt so embarrassed when my voice cracked on the stage.

在舞臺上唱破音的時候，我真的尷尬得想死。

2. awkward 形容事情/場面尷尬(在場的人都很尷尬)

處境非常尷尬

devil hole 直譯就是“魔鬼洞”，形容自身處境非常艱難尷尬，

4. in hot water

指某人或某些人遇到非常麻煩的問題了，表現得尷尬焦躁不安。
