Backslapper是指那些老是拍肩握手，想向別人表示友好的人。美國人要想別人表示友好的時候就不拍對方的後背，可是，有的人做得過分了點，不管是熟人還是陌生人，見一個就拍一個，想以此來顯示他們友好。美國人把這種人叫做backslapper。你從這種人身上也許會佔點便宜，但是不一定可靠。有的時候顯得友好，其實並不是真的友好。Sb. is a backslapper.用來警告一個人不要上某人的當。
