3.詳細解說

1.“mean to do sth.”意爲“意欲、打算、有意做某事”。
2.“might”意爲“或許,可能”,表示推測,例如:They might get there before it rains.(他們或許可以在下雨前到達那裏。)
3.單詞“buy”的意思是“接受,承認,相信”(俚語)。例如:The officer didn't buy my lame excuse for speeding.(那個警官不接受我給出的超速行駛的蹩腳理由。)
4.“do one's best”的意思是“盡某人全力”,後面可以接不定式,表示“爲(做)…而盡全力”,例如:I must do my best to help him.
