Sweden's Prince Carl Philip married former model and reality TV star Sofia Hellqvist in the chapel of the royal palace in Stockholm on Saturday.

當地時間13日，瑞典王子卡爾·菲利普在首都斯德哥爾摩王室教堂與前模特、真人秀明星索菲婭·赫爾奎斯特完婚。

It is the first time in centuries that a Swedish commoner has become a princess of Sweden.

這是瑞典幾世紀以來首次出現平民王妃。

"It's a real Cinderella story," says royal expert Roger Lundgren.

The 36-year-old prince, third in line to the throne, was visibly nervous during the ceremony. After a long wait at the altar, the prince struggled to put the wedding ring on his bride's finger.

現年36歲的菲利普王子是瑞典王位第3順位繼承人，他在婚禮上顯然很緊張，在聖壇前花了很久才總算給索菲婭戴上了婚戒。

The couple started dating in 2009 and announced their engagement in June 2014.

這對新人於2009年開始交往，2014年6月宣佈訂婚。
