心寒! 醫生搶救時剪壞患者衣物卻遭索賠千元

A father in central China is drawing flak for demanding compensation from an emergency room physician who damaged his son's clothing while trying to save his life.

來自中國中部地區的一位父親，因向急診室一名內科醫生索賠而受到抨擊，該醫生在試圖挽救他兒子的生命時損壞了其衣服。

The son, surnamed Li, was rushed to the Zhongnan Hospital of Wuhan University in Hubei Province after passing out due to arterial blockage on September 11.

9月11日，他的兒子小李在因動脈阻塞暈厥後被緊急送往了湖北省的武漢大學中南醫院。

Thankfully, he was saved by the attending physician at the hospital's emergency room.

謝天謝地，小李在醫院的急診室內被主治醫生給搶救了過來。

The good news, however, came to an abrupt end when the father complained that his son's clothing was damaged and that contents of his pockets were gone.

然而，好消息戛然而止，這位父親抱怨稱他兒子的衣物被損壞了，口袋裏的東西也不見了。

Because of this, the father demanded the doctor to pay 1,500 yuan ($227) in compensation. After some negotiations, the doctor paid 1,000 yuan ($152).

因此，他要求醫生支付1500元（摺合227美元）作爲賠償。在經過多次協商之後，該醫生最終賠償了1000元（摺合152美元）。

Chinese netizens quickly caught up with the story, hailing the doctor as a "saint" and the father a "piece of trash," Shanghaiist noted.

上海人網指出，中國網友們迅速被這則報道吸引了，他們稱讚該醫生是位“道德高尚的人”，而斥責這位父親爲“垃圾”。

Weibo users commented: "You can save some people's bodies, but not their souls."
