韓國通過韓美自由貿易協議

South Korea's parliament has ratified a free trade agreement with the United States, in a contentious vote that erupted in violence in the parliament bill passed on a vote of 151 to seven during a special parliamentary session Tuesday. Outnumbered opposition lawmakers reacted angrily to the move to force a vote, shouting protests and setting off a teargas cannister in the chamber.

The vote comes one month after the U.S. Congress approved the deal and President Barack Obama signed it into pact, known as the Korea-U.S. Free Trade Agreement, was signed nearly four-and-a-half years ago. It is the most significant trade pact for the United States since the 1994 North America Free Trade Agreement with Canada and Mexico.韓國國會批准與美國的自由貿易協定。在這場有爭議的投票過程中，議會大廳爆發暴力事件。這個法案星期二在議會特別會議上以151票比7票獲得通過。佔少數的反對派議員對強行推動表決感到憤怒，高呼抗議口號，在會議廳內打開一個催淚瓦斯罐。
