深港通正式通車 兩地交易所舉行開通儀式

The Shenzhen-Hong Kong Stock Connect, the link between the mainland and Hong Kong bourses, was launched last Monday.

連接內地與香港證券交易所的深港通於上週一正式啓動。

Ceremonies were held simultaneously at the Hong Kong and Shenzhen bourses via video link at 9:30 am.

當日上午9點30分，香港和深圳兩地交易所通過視頻連線同時舉行深港通開通儀式。

This is the second link of its kind to boost opening up of mainland's capital market after a similar link between the Shanghai and Hong Kong bourses was launched in 2014.

這是繼2014年連接上交所與港交所的滬港通開通之後，爲提升大陸資本市場開放度而開通的第二條類似渠道。

The new scheme is aimed at giving global investors stocks in the tech-heavy Shenzhen market via the Hong Kong bourse.

深港通旨在讓全球投資者可以通過港交所在重科技的深交所投資。

A total of 417 stocks on the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong are eligible for trading, and 881 stocks are eligible on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange.

據悉，深港通下的港股通股票共417只，而深股通股票共881只。

Hong Kong Chief Executive Leung Chun-ying said at the ceremony that the launch indicated the interconnection between capital markets in Hong Kong and Shenzhen has entered a new stage.

香港特區行政長官樑振英在開通儀式上稱，深港通開通標誌着香港和深圳兩地資本市場互聯互通進入新階段。

"It's like building a bridge. After the bridge is built, flows of people will arrive in succession in the coming 20 years or so," he said.

他說道：“這就像是建造一座橋樑。在建造完成之後，在未來20年左右，流動的人羣將陸續到來。”
