hereis a bad wolf in the forest. One day he is eating a lamb. Suddenly a bonesticks in his throat.

“Oh, a bone is my throat.” He goes to see adoctor, “Please help me.” The doctor, Mr. Panda says, “Sorry, I can’t help bone is inside.”

“Whatcan I do?” the wolf is sad. Then he meets a crane. “Oh, dear crane. Please helpme. A bone is in my throat. I will pay for your help.”

“Ok. Let me have a try,” the crane says. Shepulls out the bone with her bill. “Now I will go. Remember your words. Youshould pay me,” she says.

“Well. Pay you. I remember,” the wolf says. Withthe words, the wolf bites off the crane’s neck and eats her up.

森林裏有一隻很壞的狼。一天,他正在吃一隻羊羔.突然一根骨頭卡在他的喉嚨裏了。

“哎呀,一根骨頭卡在我的喉嚨裏了。”他趕忙去看醫生, “請幫幫我吧。”醫生熊貓先生說:“很抱歉,我幫不了你。骨頭卡在裏面。”

“我該怎麼辦啊?”狼傷心。後來他遇到一隻鶴。“親愛的鶴小姐,請救救我吧,一根頭卡在我的喉嚨裏了。我會給你報酬的。”

“好吧。我試試看。”鶴小姐說。她用她的長嘴把骨頭拉了出來。“現在我要走了。記住你的話,你該給我報酬的。”

“好的,給你報酬。”狼突然說,突然咬住鶴的長脖子,把她吃了。

He saw a dead rabbit thought to himself ,"Since it is so easy to get a rabbit like that, why should I work so hard all day long"He threw his hoe away and lay by the tree everyday,dreaming for more rabbits to he finally realized his foolish,he starved to death.

The story told us no pain ,no gain , no one can reap where one has not sown.

守株待兔

從前有一個農民每天在地裏辛苦勞作。一天他正在耕地時聽到撞擊聲;他看到一隻兔子躺在樹旁。他撿起一看是一隻肥大的兔子,他自言自語地說:“既然這麼容易撿到兔子,爲什麼我要整天辛苦勞作呢?”他扔掉鋤頭,每天躺在樹邊,夢想有兔子來。當他最終意識到他的愚蠢返回地裏時,他發現他的稻穀全死了。

寓意:這個故事告訴我們,我們不能等着機會和運氣帶來的不可預料的收穫,也就是說,我們希望不勞而獲。

A fox's tail was caught in a trap. When he was trying to release himself, he lost his whole tail except the stump.

At first he was ashamed to see the other foxes because he had no tail, but he was determined to face his misfortune. He called all the foxes to a meeting.

When they had gotten together, the fox said that they should all do away with their tails.

He said that their tails were very inconvenient when they met with their enemies. He did not talk about any advantages of the tail. "You are right," said one of the older foxes, "but I don’t think you would advise us to do away with our tails if you hadn't lost it yourself first."

沒有尾巴的狐狸

一隻狐狸的尾巴被夾住了,當他試着脫身的時候,掙斷了整條尾巴。

A bird was confined in a cage outside a window. She often sang at night when all other birds were asleep.

One night a bat came. He asked the bird why she was silent by day and sang only at night.

The bird answered, “Last year when I was singing in the daytime, a bird catcher heard my voice and caught me in his e then I have never sung by day.” The bat replied, "But it is useless to do this now that you have become a prisoner." Then he flew away.

金絲雀與蝙蝠

掛在窗口籠裏的金絲雀,經常在鳥兒睡着的夜裏歌唱。

一天晚上,蝙蝠來了,飛過來問她爲什麼白天安靜無聲,夜裏卻要歌唱。

金絲雀回答說:“去年我在白天唱歌時,捕鳥人聽到我的歌聲抓住了我。從此,我再也不在白天唱歌了。”蝙蝠說:“你現在才懂得謹慎已沒用了,你若在變爲囚徒之前就懂得,那該多好呀!”說完就飛走了。

寓意: 我們應該在危險發生之前就提高警覺,因爲危險一旦發生,我們再怎樣小心也沒有用了。

A man wanted to buy an ass. He went to the market, and saw a likely one. But he wanted to test him first.

So he took the ass home, and put him into the stable with the other asses. The new ass looked around, and immediately went to choose a place next to the laziest ass in the stable.

When the man saw this he put a halter on the ass at once, and gave him back to his owner.

The owner felt quite surprised. He asked the man, "Why are you back so soon? Have you tested him already?" "I don't want to test him any more," replied the man, "From the companion he chose for himself, I could see what sort of animal he is."

驢和買驢的人

一個買主到市場上去買驢,他看中一頭外表不錯的驢,但是他想要牽走試一試。

他把驢牽回家,放在自己其他的驢之間,這驢四處看看,立即走向一頭好吃懶做的驢旁邊。

於是,買驢的人立刻給那頭驢套上轡頭,牽去還給驢的賣主。

賣主感到很奇怪,他問買主:“你怎麼這麼快就回來了?”買主說:“不必再試了,從他所選擇什麼樣的朋友來看,我已經知道他是什麼樣了。”

寓意: 物以類聚,人以羣分。人們往往喜歡跟與自己相同的人交往,所以,我們可以根據一個人的朋友來推斷他的爲人。

Every man carries Two Bags about with him, one in front and one behind, and both are packed full of faults. The Bag in front contains his neighbours’ faults, the one behind his own. Hence it is that men do not see their own faults, but never fail to see those of others.
