Escape

I NEVER hear the word "escape"
Without a quicker blood,
A sudden expectation,
A flying attitude.
I never hear of prisons broad
by soldiers battered down,
But I tug childish at my bars--
Only to fail again!

逃亡

我一聽說“ 逃亡”這個詞
血液就加快奔流,
一個突然的期望,
一個想飛的衝動。

我從未聽說敞開的監獄
被戰士們攻陷,
但我幼稚的用力拖我的圍欄–
只不過再失敗!
