澳大利亞金負鼠因形似皮卡丘而走紅網絡

A rare brushtail possum has gone viral on social media, thanks to her uncanny resemblance to a popular Pokemon character.

一隻罕見的帚尾負鼠因與《精靈寶可夢》中的人氣角色出奇相像而走紅社交媒體。

The baby orphan possum was recently brought into a Melbourne vet clinic and has since been nicknamed Pikachu for her similarity to the famous animated rodent-like creature.

這隻負鼠孤兒寶寶近日被送到墨爾本的一家寵物診所，由於與著名齧齒類動畫角色“皮卡丘”十分相似，因而被起了相同的綽號。

"We recently had a very special possum brought in to the clinic," Boronia Veterinary Clinic and Animal Hospital posted on its Facebook page. "The golden color occurs due to a mutation which causes a low level of the pigment melanin."

博洛尼亞獸醫診所和動物醫院在其臉書頁面上發帖稱："我們診所最近來了一隻非常特別的負鼠，由於基因突變使她體內的黑色素水平較低，導致皮毛呈金色。”

"They are so rare in the wild as although their bright color makes them look special to us, they also stand out to predators! Luckily for this baby brushtail, she's gone to carers to be raised and then will end up in a wildlife sanctuary."

“金毛負鼠在野外實數罕見，雖然其鮮亮的毛色讓我們覺得它們看起來很是特別，但它們也極易被獵食動物發現！幸運的是這隻負鼠寶寶已被護理員收養，之後將被送到野生動物保護區生活。”

The photo of the adorable marsupial has since attracted more than 1,300 shares and sparked hundreds of comments on Facebook.

自發布以來，這隻可愛的有袋類動物的照片已被轉發超過1300次，且引得網友在臉書上留言數百條。

'Pretty sure that's a Pokemon,' someone commented.

有網友評論道：“這就是一個精靈寶可夢啊。”

Another added: 'What a very special and gorgeous little creature.'
