The dispossessed working class are cruelly frowned upon the world over. In the UK they are maligned as "chavs", in China they form the "diaosi”. Diaosi (屌絲) is a term that has long been popular amongst Chinese netizens. The loose translation of the word is "loser" or something gh, it is not necessarily quite as negative as it sounds in English–forsome it is even a lifestyle choice (though one which most are not really happywith).
那些無依無靠的工人階級對世界感到非常不悅。在英國，他們不快地被人稱爲“衣着通俗沒文化的年輕人”，在中國，他們則是“屌絲”。屌絲一詞在中國網民當中流行已久，這個詞表達的就是“失敗者”之類的意思。雖然這個詞不見得傳達着與英文表達一樣的消極信息——對有些人來說，這甚至還是一種選擇的生活方式（雖然大多數人並不真的對這種生活方式感到快樂）。
Diaosi defines those who haven't succeeded in life, and they are often signified as those who rejectthe material world, probably because they don't have much access to it.
