31. capital expenditure 資本投資，基本建設投資(用於生產所需的土地、建築物、機器、運輸工具及原料等)

e.g. The capital expenditure in the canteen, sportscenter and staff room will benefit the whole company.

用在食堂、健身中心和休息室的基本建設投資將爲整個公司帶來好處。

32. capital growth 資本增值

e.g. An investment in shares with a low income may be acceptable if the chances of capital growth look good.

如果資本增值潛力大，即便是投資收益股票也可以接受。

33. capital-intensive 資本密集

e.g. “Capital-intensive” refers to an industry needinga large amount of capital to produce its products, e.g. the petroleum industry, the electricity industry.

“資本密集”指的是需要大量資本投入產品生產的產業，比如石油產業和電力產業。

34. capital investment 資本投資，基本建設投資(用於生產所需的機器、廠房等)

e.g. Capital investment for the year stands at ￡6000.

當年的基本建設投資額爲6000英鎊。

e.g. When the insurance policy matures, the insured person will receive the capital sum agreed.

e.g. The water company which supplies the region, having no competitors, enjoys a captive market.

e.g. This is a car hire company.

46. caring profession 護理行業

55. cash advances 預付現金

e.g. The main benefits of the new system are that cashadvances will no longer be necessary and administrative time can be reduced.

新系統的主要好處在於公司無需預付現金，而且可以減少用於行政管理的時間。

56. cash card 現金卡，自動提款卡，銀行卡

e.g. Cash card are electronic currency that, intheory, could eliminate the need to carry bills and coins altogether.

現金卡是理論上可以省去攜帶鈔票和硬幣麻煩的電子貨幣。

e.g. Cheques are being used less and less, replaced by the cash card.

支票如今用得越來越少，取而代之得是現金卡。

57. cashflow analysis 現金流量分析

e.g. This course will help you perform an advanced cashflow analysis of your own company.

58. cash-flow forecast 現金流量預測

e.g. Once the cash-flow forecast is prepared the realchallenge is to decide if a project should be accepted or rejected.
