China and Australia on Monday signed a declaration of intent on practically concluding bilateral negotiations on a free trade agreement (FTA). According to the results of the nine-year-long talks, Australia will eventually reduce tariffs to zero on all goods imported from China, and China will remove tariffs on a vast majority of Australian goods.

中國與澳大利亞週一就實質性結束雙邊自貿協定談判簽署了意向聲明。這場歷時九年的談判結果顯示，澳大利亞最終將對所有從中國進口的商品關稅降爲零，而中國也將取消對大多數澳大利亞產品的關稅。

【講解】
自從上海自貿區開始試點以來，各種FT（free trade）相關的報道就不絕於耳。先有Shanghai Pilot Free Trade Zone（上海試驗自貿區）經驗被推廣，APEC會議期間又通過了Free Trade Area of the Asia-Pacific（FTAAP，亞太自貿區）路線圖。這次中澳即將簽訂free trade agreement (FTA，自貿協定)，並且在協定生效日起相互給予最惠國待遇（the most favored nation (MFN) status）。

中澳自貿協定生效之後，澳洲的乳製品（dairy products）將在四年內實現零關稅進入中國場（tariff-free access to Chinese market）；另外，園藝產品（horticultural products）、海鮮（seafood）等產品進入中國的關稅也將在2019年降爲零。
