如果說way是指一段路途的話，那麼be well on the way就是指在這段路途上很順利，有着好的開始。用be well on the way這個句型若用來形容一個人學習的路途，那麼就是指他有慧根，悟性高。
spare的意思是省卻, 省下,effort是努力，spare no effort就是指不惜血本，不計代價，也就是你下定決心，就算用盡一切資源，也要達成某一個目標。
call it a day 這個詞組字面上的意思指就稱它做一天。進而引申爲到此爲止，就這樣結束。當你想結束一件不想追究的事，也可以用這個詞組。

To make my dream come ture，surely I have tospare no effortsto improve my expression. I will notcall it a dayuntil I write down my feelings and ideas of the valuable material for my novel.
