1. 解釋

Stick的意思是“堅持”，短語stick to的意思是“堅持做某事”。Stick to one’s guns的字面意思是“堅持拿着自己的搶”，比喻爲“堅持立場”。

Ps 1：look down upon sb.的意思是“蔑視某人，瞧不起某人，看不起某人”等意思。例如：
